In case you were wondering, and I KNOW you were, I’m still here. I did not die from an accidental overdose of apple dumplings. Life has been crazy hectic lately. Don’t know whether I’m coming or going! Still don’t have much time to write, but hopefully soon I’ll come up for air!
Here’s the latest picture of the kids and brief update. Zach has started baseball (with Mike coaching the team) and is super excited that it’s finally here. After all, we had a period of TWO weeks where there were no sporting activities. The horror! He has also made “Student of the Month” in his class at school. Very cool! And, just last night, he accepted Jesus!! Whoo Hoo! That’s the best news all year. We are so, so proud of him!
Lilly is continuing to grow sassy and plump. She runs everywhere now and wants to do everything Bubba does. Everything. She is talking more, saying ouch, love you, kick, cow, moo, pete (as in Pistol Pete…gotta start early!) and of course puppy. Puppy is usually thrown in every other word or so. And, when she is upset all anyone in the house needs to do is ask “Do you want to go see Puppy?”, and the world is all right again.
Mike has been gearing up for baseball season too. He’s already done a great job researching games and techniques that will make learning fun for the kids. It’s going to be a bit challenging, but he’s up to it! I’m sure we’ll have plenty of funnies and pictures to share soon.
I have been super busy with the Backwoods Boutique and other community affairs. Yes, I’m just partying it up people! I only wish. I’m actually in my craft room till midnight cranking out the bows and clippies and tutus. Winding the ribbon on the rods, baking it, starching it, hot glue coming out of my ears and all sorts of other crazy stuff. Easter orders have kept me busy. Can’t complain!
That’s the news from the boonies! And I said I didn’t have time to write….once I get going, you just can’t shut me up!

I WAS wondering where you went! Sweet pictures – Lilly’s laughing so hard she’s just a blur. I am glad you are all off to a great spring and that business is booming.
I made those dumplings this weekend. Oh dear.

That just melts my heart! You have such a cute little family and Zach is turning into such a little man. I’m so proud of him and I don’t even have any claim to him! :0 )
